About the event
Baptism is a necessary part of becoming a Christian and publicly declaring one's faith in Jesus Christ; other relevant scriptures include Mark 16:16 and Acts 2:38, which also emphasize the importance of baptism for believers. Baptism acts as a public symbol of one's commitment to follow Jesus and become part of the Christian community. Romans 6:3-4 explains how baptism represents dying to one's old life of sin and being raised to a new life in Christ. By following Jesus' instruction to baptize new believers, Christians demonstrate their obedience to his teachings.
In order to be baptized, you must attend a mandatory baptism class: Sunday February 9th, 12-12:30pm. The class will be held in the Ministry Center (rear building).
